Fat fingers! My apologies! Your article is accurate. Some wealthy people back then didn’t care about Americans. We have a new generation of them that feel the exact same way. I wish you would have touched on this that no one likes to discuss. Many wealthy people back then became more wealthy when the Depression hit. Property and other assets became cheaper due to the Depression. If you had money available, buy!!! Hold those assets until a good time to sell. It wasn’t like these greedy bastards had to worry about eating or the electricity being cut off. It is the same today. FDR, the infamous “Traitor to his class” had the intelligence to realize you can push something too far! The rich idiots today are dumber than a rock and are high on drugs. They are not going to stop on their own. You know who can stop them? YOU CAN!!! Push back!!! Complain, gripe, yell, call, email, protest!!! Save your loved ones & this country!!!

Just add this column to the one I just read from Patrick/Complex Simplicity and we have the full, real, actual state of America: decadent, selfish, immoral, cruel, and about to become a techno-feudal state. I live on a pension, social security, limited savings. I wonder what to do with the savings - what to turn it into - as bank protections will disappear along with people's savings? Will cryptocurrencies, which I loathe, be safer? The American dollar may become worthless so cash won't help.
