If, for the sake of argument, we accept as valid Francis Crick's "directed panspermia" hypothesis, then let us suggest that a follow-up seeding most accurately should be categorized as "directed spiritual panspermia" -- a term that I've copyrighted.
Further, I would hypothesize that Roswell-like anomalous craft crashes reported world-wide more than a century and broadly related anomalous events are elements of directed spiritual panspermia programs.
Science fiction? Perhaps. But the brain building of which you write, like the unchecked developments of nuclear and thermo-nuclear weapons, present as prima facie evidence for my opening contention.
