A lot of work went into this article, with its many sources and 3 links.

My thyroid was damaged by bis-Phenol A (bpa) in 2016, while I was working at a temp job, over just a 3-week period. Using a heat gun to remove labels, which were coated with a very thin layer of plastic containing bpa.

Some of these plastic super-toxins are absorbed very readily through your skin and it only takes a few "parts per billion" to do irreparable damage.

Vinyl carbamate is another really bad one, which is used as a "release agent" on stickers so they peel off the backing easily. Also in rolls of tape, so the tape comes smoothly off the roll.

Of course you'll never be able to prove you were damaged by a particular plastic, but my theory is that the obesity epidemic is partly from plastics. Maybe autism too, with the endocrine system system and the way hormones interact.

Reading this over, I may need to be checked for toxic levels of BPA exposure. Where and how did you get tested?

It was a stroke of good luck that the intake nurse, when I went to the county hospital, had the intuition to order the TSH level test and the other thyroid test, T4 level I think. That was at the Santa Clara County Valley Medical Center. Believe it or not, the county hospital in San Jose is better than Kaiser or Good Samaritan.

If you complain to your doctor about fatigue, weight gain, depression, etc., you can get him to order a TSH level test. It's an expensive test though, so usually they don't do it. Fortunately I was on Medi-Cal and, as I said before, got the right nurse at intake. By happenstance, I went for testing yesterday, here in Akron, OH, where it cost more than $800 for the 4 tests they did. So, if you pay cash, it'll be over $800.

If only they would put milk in glass containers, that would be great, but they can't afford the shipping. Perhaps a bulk milk dispenser, like a water dispenser but for milk. People can bring their own containers perhaps? All great ideas you wrote. Thanks.

A dark mood today with respect to humanity prompts me to suggest that with steeply falling sperm counts, the human problem may solve itself.
