Thank you for your cogent analysis, though I do think RFK let his bitterness towards the Democratic party blind him to Trump's many faults

Greg Palast recently sent an email on August 23rd discussing details about his experiences with RFK Jr. He mentioned that he had enjoyed working with him in on several articles and books earlier, but that he changed significantly after a certain point. It started after a 2012 press conference about Deep Water Horizon. Palast mentioned a worm and then specified a "physical worm". I do not know if he meant that this is not a metaphor, but his behavior became erratic. Palast said that it was difficult and sad for him to write this email.

I think Katya's post was unhinged.

Actually, you sound quite unhinged. I'm not sure how or why I came to follow you but definitely undoing that today. Furthermore, if you knew as much as you think you do, you'd know RFK Jr didn't drop out of the POTUS race at all. I'm not even going to bother explaining it to you. If you bothered to listen to what he said you'd know that. If you did listen, it's clear you haven't the mental capacity to process the truth. One of the many symptoms of TDS.

Although I am "unhinged" because I think Trump is dangerous, I do try to think things through a bit. So I wonder just how many candidates who have no chance and actually ENDORSE another candidate AND seek a post in that candidate's administration ARE still "running"... I do understand that he's keeping his name on the ballot in certain states, but so what? It would be too late to take his name off anyway.

He didn't drop out of the race? Well, Wikipedia thinks he did:

On August 22, the Kennedy campaign filed to be removed from the Arizona ballot amid reports he would drop out to endorse Trump.[230] On August 23, Kennedy dropped out and endorsed Trump, while saying he intended to maintain ballot placement in certain non-swing states.

(He can't win anything). Liberals don't like him because he's anti-vax which is basically anti-science in my opinion.

One of the first and most important things to understand about Wikipedia is that a lot of things that Wikipedia thinks is true simply are not. Ask Russ what Wikipedia's record on truth looks like. In this case, I know Bobby was still running for President because I was able to vote for him in Idaho, when I couldn't bear to vote for The Trumpette or Sleepy Joe Biden.

When I heard RFK saying he was dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump, he wasn't really dropping out of the race and endorsing Trump? Huh what? Unhinged is voting for a sociopathic liar. Liars are cowards.

The common enemy - Kamala - presents an existential threat. Nuclear war and the loss of freedom of speech are likely results of her election. We need this unity government to save the republic and potentially the world. Strange bed fellows, I agree. But it's the best chance this country has. And it's the best chance to address the chronic disease epidemic that's not only killing and maiming Americans, but also bankrupting the country.

How did Kamala hurt you? The economy is in better shape than most other countries of the world post-pandemic, and you think that's the end of the world? We have a great economy and we're putting the middle class interests over the very rich and you think it's the end of the world? We are the ones who do the work, and we're tired of getting shafted.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm so glad he's gonna lose !

I live in NYC. We acutely feel the effects of the open border. Kamala and the DNC believe that censorship is ok, if it achieves their goals of silencing speech they don't like. Free speech is the foundation of democracy, censorship is an existential threat. The parties have flipped, the DNC is now the party of the military industrial complex, Kamala will allow the Ukraine war to continue and will allow Ukraine to use American weapons on Russian soil, which will be a declaration of war and lead to World War 3, potentially nuclear WW3. They are totally ok with the globalists, and happy to hand over the country's autonomy to the WHO and WEF. Besides abortion and LGBTQ+ issues, the Dems have little respect for people's autonomy. They believe they know best and have no issues with forcing it on you. Ie vaccine mandates, in fact Kamala is currently mandating her employees to be up to date on their covid shots, IN 2024! Trump is a lot less scary. He was already president and we survived, and thrived. There are things I don't like about him, but those are far fewer and less scary to me than having the DNC stay in power.

Would you care to elucidate how it is that you think these are 'likely results' of her election ? Does it have to do with the fact that Trump calls Kamala dumb and such? I wonder why he does that? I have heard other people pronounce her name the way Trump does - their bigotry is showing (that's why he says it - he's hoping bigots will vote for him). His only ploy to campaign is fear-mongering. If you are a human ; it seems to be working on you.
