You will be kicked off Twitter once this reaches him, (if he reads or hears of it). I lost my Twitter account for speaking truthfully of starlink. it's good but it's not great, $150 a month for tier-2 service, and "peak time" = 16 hours a day!), so it's really only "great" in the middle of the night.

I have had 6 accounts & have lost privileges over 20 times between them, mostly before Musk took charge. I'm a straight talker & been reported for "bullying" I think, which is totally wrong. Now Musk has it set up so you can't report misinformation or lies they tell.

I wish we could smack him down to an appropriate level for liars and bigots. Liars are just cowards so can't deal with the truth. Many of those folks looking for evil are themselves evil, like him, IMHO.

The past was only a "transgression" in the eyes of MAGA people. Otherwise, it was Twitter trying to comply with serious concerns about disinformation of exactly the sort this article addresses.

This whole line about Musk "doing the right thing" in the public interest is itself disinformation by a group of partisans. I've seen enough prior comments from this commenter to know exactly where he stands politically. FYI to readers.

That's hardly surprising since the overwhelming assault on truth threatens the well-being and stability of the country. Trump's own behavior alone is cause for grave concern; his close relationships with foreign dictators, leaking documents, etc, all provide additional context to the concern about organized disinformation on Twitter -- and the consequences. Doing nothing would be suicidal for democracy.

The President of the United States was kicked off Twitter. Twitter did its best to hide the Biden lap top from hell from the american people. Twitter censored doctors who disagreed with vaccine orthodoxy. The real question is Twitter and Facebook subsidiaries of the Central Intelligence Agency?

I agree, but the Fairness Doctrine that was ripped away at the end of Reagan/Bush administration by CIA Bush's corrupt FCC has allowed Foxy to set up shop in America & traffic in lies, opinion, smears & propaganda. I'm not saying that the Fairness Doctrine would be enough to stop this, but I will point out that the Fairness Doctrine is not the "equal time rule" that people immediately jump to. The Fairness Doctrine held that news casters couldn't use opinion, lies, or propaganda during newscasts. That's a pretty good start imo, even if it only held for the network news.

If we don't want to revive the Fairness Doctrine, then we need to simply make it illegal across all media that newscasters cannot use propaganda, misinformation, lies &/or propaganda during news broadcasts. It is unconstitutional to interfere with the pursuit of our ability to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. Protecting U.S. democracy should be the very least Corporate entities should have to accept. Rich people are getting away with too much, stealing from tax payers, & are not contributing their fair share. It is time they get treated equally to the rest of the population.

I believe he helped Trump get elected. I also believe Zuckerberg helped too.
