The "white college graduates" who still support the Warren Commission's findings tend to think that Oswald was an aggrieved loner who murdered President Kennedy to be famous. And yet, when accused of having done this, he denied it, insisting that he hadn't shot anyone and "I'm just a patsy." In so few words, Oswald refuted the allegation against him. Because, of course, to be famous for doing something, one has to agree that one did it. No one - ever - sought fame as a "patsy."

Dear Russ,

About your conclusion : Q.E.D, Musk now openly compares himself with Pablo Escobar : himselfhttps://x.com/elonmusk/status/1860475842800812347

It must be quite very tough to be a rational democrat today in the USA, I figure. Do not dispare.

In Europe, for many of us, here also and once again confronted to the "resistible rise" of the far right, this all sounds like a wake-up call. At long last.

Keep up the good work, that's all we can do, right?, and it's a lot.

Best,

Matthieu Auzanneau :)

I believe Oswald was framed, set up, the patsy. But I am having trouble finding where he adored Kennedy.

Expand full comment

Many who knew him, including George de Mohrenschildt, said so. (And keep in mind GDM helped frame Oswald, so his admitting Oswald loved Kennedy was out of character.) Also, Oswald's widow told me the same things.

And I disagree with the statement that George helped frame Lee. I have no problem that he was a minder for Lee but I believe neither of them was plotting the death of the president. There are of course two George de Mohrenschildt’s talking. George testifying to the Warren Commission and George years later.

I've read de Mohrenschildt, I will go reread. The only thing I have confidence in him for is his steadfast support of Lee's innocence. I would love to talk to Marina, but she has not answered my letter. I was married to a first cousin of Michael Paine's and have gotten very interested in all this in the last two years. I have developed a somewhat off center thesis of who Lee was. You are welcome to read about it in my Substack, the White Gloves legend.

At age 94, and a politically active Democrat all my life, I thank you for your essay on what has gone

so very wrong in our public discourse. I believe that our sources of information have been willingly

paid to shape the truth to suit the command of those who pay them. Even the best journalists have

eventually become less and less truthful and reliable. It is almost impossible to find the TRUTH

ANYWHERE. The natural result is cynicism and anger. WHAT TO DO???

Excellent analysis of the right wing hijacking of assassination investigations for their anti-government purposes.

I read your book back when it was published. I was 10 when John F. Kennedy was elected. I was enamored with his speech...first time I had paid attention to politics. I was 13 when he was assassinated. Beside the point, really. I don't believe Oswald was guilty. I do believe that George H W Bush was responsible, whoever pulled the trigger. As for trump, who can explain what happened in this election. I suspect electronic fraud, despite the claims that it didn't happen.

You make a good point. Sarah Kenzior’s book They Knew expertly addresses this same thesis that conspiracy theories have been used to hide important truths.

Covid was made by Fauci (U of N Carolina, Ralph Baric, Eco-Health Alliance, DoD money, the Chinese Level 4 bio-warfare lab in Wuhan). RFK completely exposed the fraud in his book on Fauci. But Fauci was our point man savior against the bio-weapon made by Fauci. It's a bad movie plot, a fraud of so massive a scale that nobody would buy it. So the truth was censored, deplatformed, demonitized. Forget the Nuremberg Code. The doctors who were successfully treating with cheap, off label pills were fired. See what a judge ordered released in Pfizer's own data, that Naomi Wolf has documented in her new book. None of this ever crossed your desk???

The problem with the assertions of RFK Jr is the fact that he lies so much when trying to prove them. If they were true, he would not have to do this.

Bold assertion. What lies?

Obviously you didn't check his references.

That’s not an answer.

Actually, it is. RFK is notorious for his padded, misleading, and outright false back-up. You CAN find out for yourself, as so many others have.

So Milicent, a question. Have you read Kennedy’s book on Fauci and Naomi Wolf’s on the vaccine?

Naomi and 3200 or so qualified technical readers from around the world went through what the FDA wanted to keep hidden for a lifetime, protecting themselves and their masters. Fortunately there are journalists who are willing to energetically cast shade upon these and other erstwhile workers, maintaining the confusion and division. This substack is often a case in point as shown above.

You are obviously not qualified to identify a "qualified technical reader." I don't know if you're a mouse or a rat or a troll, but exposing truth is not your intention. You're trying to promote BS, but we are the wrong audience for it.

Ah, ok then. Hyperbolic unsubstantiated one sided hit pieces. Illusions of legitimacy appealing to a desperate legion of semi conscious hypnotic subjects. Carry on, as you were. Apologies for intruding upon the echo chamber orchestra rehearsal.

Here's one of RFK's great claims: measles was not prevented by vaccines -- but by "nutrition and clean water."
